People Markets · Design system 1.4

A market for the people you follow.

People Markets lets you trade on the changing public influence of artists, athletes and creators. Each listed person has a market with a price. You can trade on that price rising or falling.

You trade a financial contract, not ownership of the person or a share of their income. Trading can lose money. Costs and the market’s rules affect the result.

The first explanation

A view on price, not a share in a person.

Someone’s influence may grow while a trade still loses money. The price, timing, costs and market rules all matter.

01 · Find

Start with a person

Browse artists, athletes and creators, then read what each market measures.

02 · Understand

Read the price

The mark price is a market value. It is not the person’s net worth, earnings or a cash balance.

03 · Decide

Choose a direction

A long view benefits from a higher price; a short view benefits from a lower one, before costs.

A simple example

Suppose a mark price starts at $40.

This comparison shows direction only. A real cash result also depends on trade size, costs and market rules.

If the price rises to $44

+10%

A long view moves with the price. A short view moves against it.

If the price falls to $36

−10%

A long view moves against the price. A short view moves with it.
